Cobalt blue, spectacular condition and only 3200 miles. Protect your new "baby" with the classic Harley cover included with this beautiful touring bike. The 2009 Heritage Softail Classic is made in the USA with front disc brakes that will securely stop the bike on demand. It comes standard with a 1584cc V Twin engine, and a 6 speed transmission. With it's nostalgic styling, the Classic is a modern touring motocycle that will munch the miles with the best of the breed. This bike is powered by the fuel-injected 96 cubic inch TC96B motor with it's maximum torque being 87.9ft/lbs and it hits earlier at 2750 rpm, compared to the "Glide's 3500rpm and the Softail's more svelte self as it weighs 100 pounds less. Given those two factors, less weight, max torque at lower rpm, the Heritage feels more agile and more responsive. A five-gallon tank holds the fuel and you can expect gas mileage to be in the 40's; play carefully and 50 mpg can be enjoyed. It all comes together nicely on the highway. Loaded up and rolling, you'll find the Hertiage Softail to be highly maneuverable, and a very easy motorcycle to ride.
